OM Community That Cares
Join thousands of patients, survivors and caregivers who support, uplift and grow together every day.
Some things only make sense to someone who has lived them. The OM Community connects you with people at every stage of the cancer journey — newly diagnosed, mid-treatment, in remission, or caring for someone they love.
- Moderated with care — safe, kind and free of medical misinformation
- Spaces for patients, survivors and caregivers
- Confidential by design
What members talk about
Much of it is practical, and it is the kind of detail that rarely comes up in a busy OPD: what helped with a particular side effect, how to manage work through a treatment cycle, what to expect from a stage somebody else has already reached, how families divided responsibilities when one person was carrying too much.
The rest is simpler — encouragement on difficult days, and the reassurance of seeing people further along who are doing well.
A separate space for caregivers
Caregivers have their own area, because their questions and their strain differ from the patient's. Many caregivers say it is the first place they have been able to admit exhaustion or frustration without feeling they were failing the person they are caring for.
How the community is kept safe
The community is actively moderated by trained moderators. Medical misinformation, unproven cure claims, promotion of products, and anything encouraging someone to stop or delay treatment are removed.
You can take part anonymously, and many members prefer to. Shared experience is valuable context, but it is not medical advice — treatment decisions always belong with your oncologist. Read the full Community Guidelines.
