OncologyMitra provides supportive services alongside your treating oncology team. These programmes do not replace medical consultations or prescribed cancer treatment.

Programme questions

What is psycho-oncology counselling?
Private emotional support to help patients cope with cancer-related fear, stress and changes in everyday life.
How are Pratham's counselling sessions scheduled?
The three counselling sessions are spaced 10 days apart — for example, Days 1, 11 and 21. Other included sessions are arranged within the one-month programme.
What is complementary wellbeing support?
Supportive wellbeing activities used alongside prescribed cancer treatment. These sessions do not replace medical treatment.
What does financial guidance include?
Help understanding financial assistance options and navigating applications. Financial assistance is subject to eligibility and approval; funding is not guaranteed.
What does 24/7 human support include?
Available exclusively with Mitra Sampoorna, this provides access to our human support team for emotional support and practical guidance throughout the programme — someone to talk to when you need it. It is not a chatbot service, an emergency medical service, a counselling replacement or round-the-clock access to a doctor. For medical emergencies, contact your treating hospital or call 112.
Can family members receive support?
Yes. Each programme includes caregiver support, delivered in the group or private format shown in the package.
